Our mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ

Our church supports missions in many ways.

CP Missions -- Through our church budget, we designate 10% of our regular tithes & offering to support the missionaries of the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board. We help to support 10,000 missionaries in this way. For more on CP missions, click here. Additionally, we collect a special offering at Christmastime for International Missions and a special offering at Easter time for North American Missions.

Prayer -- We pray for missionaries and missions all over the world.

Mission trips -- Each year, folks from our church go on short-term mission trips to serve people and share the gospel of Jesus Christ across America and around the world. We have sent teams to Vermont, Ohio, Maine, Georgia, Nicaragua, and the Bahamas. Also, individuals from our church have gone on mission trips to Turkey, China, Mexico, Peru, Panama and other countries. We encourage people to be involved in missions by doing missions.

Local missions -- People from all over the world visit our resort area of Lake Placid and the Adirondacks. We partner with North Country Ministries to serve others and share Christ with people in creative and unique ways, mostly at sports and community events. Hospitality to Internationals -- This ministry shows hospitality to international seasonal workers, college students from all over the world, who work in Lake Placid and throughout the Adirondacks region.

Starting new churches -- We have a desire to plant churches throughout the North Country. We helped to start Lake Champlain Bible Fellowship in 2007. We look forward to helping to provide support for other new churches in the future.

Supporting the Holes family -- The Lord has called Shawn & Lisa Holes and their children to full-time evangelism. The Holes are members of LPBC. They travel to street corners, college campuses and churches across the USA proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. We budget funds to help with their ministry needs, and folks from our church also give above & beyond their tithes to the Holes' ministry. For more on their ministry, click here.
